Anamorph – to see is key…

here’s a little video I made with help of my friend Ian Brown documenting the submission I made for the Footlocker Artprize. It was an ambitious work, about A0 in size, hand-painted with various colored ink, it has two anamorpheses (?) hidden within the composition, roughly 50 hours in production and countless working drawings. Didn’t make the finalists, there was something crazy like 6000 submissions but I enjoyed the challenge and was pleased with the outcome which you can see below…

My friends from the celebrated band Die Die Die! have been back in Auckland inbetween tours and were kind enough to let me use one of their songs to accompany the footage. Enjoy!
